Position Title: Renewable Energy Project Manager
Reports To: Director of Project Delivery
Department: Project Management Office

Position Overview

The Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. This role involves planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, team leadership, and client interaction to ensure project objectives are met effectively and efficiently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Direct all phases of project lifecycle from early development through final turnover.
• Team Coordination: Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, field operations and finance.
• Schedule & Budget Oversight: Establish project schedules and monitor progress; develop and manage project budgets with financial accuracy.
• Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain risk registers.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate project status to internal leadership, clients, contractors, and utility partners.
Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with industry safety standards and quality requirements.

Work Environment & Conditions

• This position is based in Austin, TX, with occasional travel to project sites across the U.S.
• Field visits may involve exposure to construction environments and outdoor conditions.
